About Me

You should have no surprises at your wedding ceremony, and you should know exactly what is going to be said. I firmly believe that your ceremony should not be about the minister, but should be about YOU! Since it is your wedding, it should include all the aspects of ceremony and celebration that are meaningful to you. It can be as traditional or as personal and customized as you wish.

I will be happy to perform your ceremony in the location of your choice! Many people who contact me are interested in having their wedding ceremony in a location other than a church. Country clubs, gardens, hotels, golf courses, private homes, and beaches are popular choices for modern wedding ceremonies.

I am available for a rehearsal before the wedding. If the ceremony is relatively simple with a small wedding party, the rehearsal can be just shortly before the wedding. However, it is best to have a separate rehearsal if there are a number of people involved.

I consult with each couple in person ahead of time and go over a wedding ceremony checklist. The couple chooses the order of the service and the various personal aspects of the ceremony they want included. We cover all the questions about who, what, where, when, and how. Bridesmaids, Groomsmen, Flower Girl(s), Ring Bearer(s), ushers, parents, relatives, honored guests, music (live, recorded, solos, etc.), flowers, rings, candles, readings, sermon, vows, prayers, etc.

I have compiled a vast array of materials that will aid you in designing your wedding ceremony. If you do not wish to design your own ceremony, I have created several standard ceremonies that you may choose from. At least a week or two before the wedding I will send a copy of the exact wording of the entire wedding ceremony to you by mail or email for your review. This gives you a chance to make sure that the ceremony will include all of the things that are important to you. If there are any changes needed, we have plenty of time to make them. Thus, when the time comes for the rehearsal (or if there is none, then the wedding), everything should go smoothly. Sending you the exact text of the ceremony ahead of time is intended to give you peace of mind. The result is usually complete confidence that everything will go according to plan during the ceremony. After all the time and money that you have spent planning your wedding, I want to do everything I can to make it organized to perfection!
